The following pictures really show what Carter is like right now. We both sat in his room before bedtime tonight too exhausted to move. Carter just moved in circles crawling over us and around us... pulling everything off the shelves and trying to pull the bedskirt out from under his crib. This little boy really keeps us on our toes.

Dan reminded me tonight that I forgot to put this picture of Carter up. Dan got the cool Quicksilver board shorts and hoody at a shop along the beach while he was in the home state last week. Too cute!

Please continue to pray for baby Amelia. Our hearts hurt so bad for these dear friends of ours. I just needed to say that before I write anything else.

He came from wonderful temperatures to snow. Dan's mom was here for a week to help me out while Dan was gone. Thank you so much Paula.

Please pray for our dear friends Steve, Jen, and Amelia Allen. Amelia was diagnosed with leukemia Wednesday after going into the doctor for what they thought was allergies. She has already had a blood transfusion, spinal tap, bone marrow biopsy and been started on chemo. Amelia is 4 months old. Please specifically pray that the fluid that is in her lungs will go away. Steve and Jen will find out tonight what type of leukemia it is. I've added the link with updates on Amelia to our blogroll.

Our guy J built this beautiful tower of bananas for us after we got home from the grocery store last night. These will be gone by Friday...

Happy Birthday Katherine... a day late. Not only did I forget your birthday... but I forgot your 30th birthday!!! Thank you for being such a great friend and one of Carter's St. Louis "Aunts." Happy Birthday!

Dan and I were both so sick that we didn't even bother taking Carter out of his pajama's Saturday. 5 out of the 6 people in this house have had the stomach flu since Thursday. Most of us are finally feeling better. It was one of those times where I really wished we lived near family!
