Red Wheelbarrow

I LOVE that we live so close to so many great things. Lately (on nice nights) our weekend evening routine has been to walk to the park to play, then down to the frozen custard shop, and then hit our favorite antique store on the way home. About a month ago I was looking for some frames for Carter's new "big boy" room (I still need to do pictures of that) while Dan and Carter walked up and down the aisles. They ended up finding this great little wheelbarrow that only needed a few repairs. We decided to get it and then asked Dan's dad if he would mind fixing it up with Carter while they were here. A few bolts later... it's good as new. Carter loves it!!

I saw this out our kitchen window as I was getting ready to load the dishwasher last night. Beautiful.

Wow!! I think the Reeves win the prize for most posts in a day. I've actually kind of enjoyed it... it makes Dan not seem so far away. And really... you have to appreciate the fact that he was posting from his phone while he was on a boat in the OCEAN!!

Anyway... I thought I'd give you a break from all the fish and post a few pics from this morning. My new editing program that I have been waiting for since Christmas FINALLY arrived a few days ago... and with Dan gone I've had a little more time on my hands. When I took photography classes in college I would always try to take pictures of kids for my projects... so it was really fun to do a little experimenting with these two.
