We did spend time with our families via the web cam on Christmas morning. It was fun having a bit of Washington, California, and Nebraska in our living room. Here is Dan's Mom and Dad:

It looks like you are having a wonderful time with Jen and Steve. How special to have such one on one time together. It was so good to spend some time together with you all Christmas morning. Carter is so cute with how much he enjoys his trucks.
Sounds awesome Alyssa. How wonderful to have such good friends to spend the entire week with! I have never met Jen, Steve, or Amelia, but have prayed for them. That is the amazing part of being in the body of Christ.
Continue having fun for your last couple days of being stuck up in the mountains! Great idea!
